Planting and Care of Early Cabbage Seedlings

In the central regions of our republic, early cabbage seedlings are planted until March 10, and in the northern regions until March 30. For field planting, healthy 40 to 45 day old seedlings with dark green leaves and a well developed root system are selected. They are planted using a 70x25 (30) cm layout. After planting, it is essential to monitor soil moisture and irrigate if necessary.

After 2 or 3 days, the rows should be inspected, and new seedlings should be planted in any gaps. The rows are cultivated using a KRN 2.8A model cultivator to a depth of 15 to 16 cm. Additionally, the soil around the plants is loosened, enriched with mineral fertilizers, and watered.
